About the Run:
The Ovarian Cancer Walk Run was formed twelve years ago, after a survivor saw a lack of education and funding being directed towards Ovarian Cancer. The Run was founded with the goal of educating the public on the signs and symptoms while supporting research to help find an early detection method as well as finding a successful treatment. In addition to raising funds for important Ovarian Cancer based programs, the event unites the community to support those who have been affected by this cancer.
